About the Founder
​
Daniela Ducasse is the Founder and President of the Haitian American Professional Women Alliance (HAPWA), Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through leadership development, mentorship, scholarships, and community engagement.
​
With more than 25 years of professional experience in healthcare administration, Daniela brings a strong foundation in organizational leadership, compliance, human resources, workforce development, and strategic operations. Her career spans managed care, provider credentialing, and nonprofit leadership, equipping her with the expertise to build sustainable, mission-driven programs that create measurable community impact.
Driven by a lifelong commitment to service and advocacy, Daniela founded HAPWA to address the professional, educational, and leadership needs of women—particularly within underserved and culturally diverse communities. Under her leadership, HAPWA has developed impactful initiatives that support women across all stages of life while fostering mentorship, collaboration, and excellence.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Daniela is an accomplished author and inspirational writer whose work centers on self-reflection, resilience, identity, and empowerment. Her voice and lived experience inform HAPWA’s values, ensuring that the organization remains grounded in authenticity, compassion, and purpose.
